To download the Minitel Synertel
emulator just click on macminitel_3.0.hqx
(macminitel_3.0.hqx is a characater file. Use
Binhex 4.0, Stuffit, Compact Pro or one of the
many other utilities to convert this file
into a program that you can use).
When you have downloaded the emulator,
install it by double-clicking on the "
Minitel" icon in the Macminitel directory and follow the instructions
:
When the emulator has been installed, you
will find the following files in the
installation folder "Minitel f":
- fichier MacMinitel :
Point to it and select
the function "File" "Create an alias" to
produce an icon to put on your desktop, for
example.
- fichier
MacMinitel.txt : a Simple
Text document which you should
read (it describes how to create scripts to
connect automatically to the Minitel
services).
- Minitel-Prefs : this
file in the Preferences file in your System
file contains all the settings
which you can modify using the menu bar at
the top of the screen :
"Fichier" "Edition" "Settings" "Session"
"Capture" "Script".
Any modifications you make are saved in
this file each time you click on "Fichier"
"Save Preferences".
